I have a BA in English from Yale University and a master’s degree in the social sciences from Miami University (with lots of qualitative research thrown in).

I’ve served on the editorial staff of national magazines, taught college students how to conduct in-depth interviews, and shown hundreds of smart, talented people how to communicate their value.

In fact, that’s what brought me out to the San Francisco Bay Area, all the way from my hometown of Syracuse, New York: an opportunity to guide Stanford PhD candidates getting ready to enter competitive markets.

The spirit of Silicon Valley is strong — so after a great experience working at Stanford, I made the switch from helping brilliant clients market themselves to helping them market their services and products.
